Reese

Hi all, I 'm writing from the hospital, they actually have a touch screen tv/ internet in the room, pretty cool. Well Jessica was due to be induced today , but Reese decided she wanted to come early. She actually let us take a nap with Zac on Sunday. After the nap Jessica was having bad contractions so we called Mimi to get Zac and off we went. This was about 4pm. When we got to the hospital the contractions were closer and closer together. And the pain came too and so did the epidural. The 1st epidural did not work the pain was still excruciating, so the second one worked fine. Jessicas mom and dad were in delivery room. Then at 3:35 am Monday morning our lovely daughter arrived. And Jessica did so well, she only pushed for 15 mins. Reese Frances Conte was born 8 pounds 3.5 ounces and is 22 inches long . So after 11 hours of labor and no sleep we were all tired I guess this is how she is preparing us for the next few months . (thank God for coffee) . We will post pictures as soon as we get home and get a chance. It has not hit Zachary yet that he has a sister, he knew all along that he was going to be a big brother , but once he met her he wasn't impressed. he definitely is looking forward to playing a bowling game with her and reading some books too, but we'll have to wait till we get home. he's having too much fun right now with mimi and now with grammy, which are taking turns watching him as we are in hospital with beautiful Reese.
